Dec. 12th:  Sewer District Beats the Cold!

The Granite Reeder Sewer District made good progress this fall and managed to get the sewer lines and stub-ins installed at Kaniksu Sands just before the cold weather hit last week.  Then the mercury dropped like a rock, and with all the moisture that was in the ground from the preceding weeks' rainfall the frost went very quickly to about 8" to 10" in just the past week.  (not much digging going on any more).

 

Sep. 26th:  Show Home - Winter Hours

With the summer season coming to a close (or is it? with water temperatures still in the upper 60's and sunny days with air temperatures in the uper 80's) the Show Home will be moving to "Casual Hours" (meaning "anytime we happen to be available") so if you are making a special trip to the lake it will be a good idea to phone ahead to make sure that we will be availalbe when you get here.

Sep. 7th:  2009 Season - Grand Prize Draw

Over 1600 people went through our Show Home this past summer - thank you for an overwhelming response and all the kind comments!

From those who entered our weekly draws we had 12 winners of gift certificates at local businesses, and this past week we made our draw for the Grand Prize for the summer season.
